Sitecore's Content Editor allows you to tailor your page's content to fit your search engine optimization (SEO) strategy. You can find these fields by scrolling down until you see the Page Meta Properties toggle.
Allows you to change the title of your page that appears in search results.
Checking NOINDEX will tell search engines not to include your page in search results. Use this for low-value content pages or for pages you do not want your users to find in search results.
By default, Sitecore appends '| The University of Chicago' to the end of your page's browser title. This is a standard for all University websites, and should not be removed.
Checking NOFOLLOW will tell search engines not to transfer authority to links on this page. With NOFOLLOW, you are telling search engines that you can't verify the authority of the links.
This provides an alternate image for sharing content to social media. This is useful if your page logo looks distorted, or simply if you prefer to use a different image than what is automatically pulled from the page.
Use this field to add keywords associated with your page's content.
Search engines will pull the first lines of content that appear on the page, unless you create your own page description. Use this section to change what appears as your page's description in search results.
