Retrieve Your Voicemail Messages and Manage PIN

Cisco Unity Connection Voicemail

When you first access your mailbox, you will need to setup your mailbox recordings (name and greeting) as well as reset the temporary PIN (password). Your mailbox ID is the last five digits of your phone number.

Accessing Voicemail

There are two ways you can access your voicemail and set a new or change your PIN.

  1. Internally from your IP phone by dialing 2-MYVM (2-6986) or by simply pressing the Messages button on your phone.
  2. Externally by dialing Unity Connection at 773.702.MYVM (773.702.6986).

Voicemail to Email

You can request to have your messages sent directly to your email in the form of a .wav file attachment. In this way, you do not have to access your mailbox to retrieve and listen to messages. Read the Voicemail Options and Actions Chart article for more information.
